Oak Glen is tucked away in Apple Country, roughly 30 miles from Big Bear Lake. The altitude is 4,800 feet above sea level and provides the opportunity for its vacationers to experience all four seasons.

The spring brings tantalizing fragrance of apples blossoming in the apple orchards which cover the mountains of Oak Glen. The Apple Blossom Festival at Oak Glen is fun for the whole family. The summer at Oak Glen offers a much more temperate climate, being a nice getaway from the scorching heat of the city. Families enjoy many fun and memorable activities in the Glen, whether it is reading by the pool, playing miniature golf, sitting by a campfire, having a BBQ or picking fresh fruit with the kids. Oak Glen offers a perfect setting for you and your spouse to escape the daily grind and enjoy a weekend, or acouple of weeks, of peace and tranquility.

The fall brings with it beautifully colored autumn leaves which paint the grounds with a vibrant yet soothing atmosphere. Come and experience the fun and excitement of the Apple Season. Enjoy visiting the various apple farms and handpicking apples, as well as other fruit, straight from the trees. There are over 30 family owned specialty shops perfect for obtaining handmade gifts and decorations for all seasons. The Rib Cage, our seasonal restaurant, offers delectable ribs, chicken, and fresh apple cider. Enjoy live country music and dancing at local ranches, or take the family for a day of fun.

In the winter, you and your family can create memories while playing in the snow. Oak Glen offers a Member’s Lodge for families to sit together, solve a puzzle, watch television, play pool, or read a book by the warmth of a hearty wood-burning fire.
